Contemporary garden offices

If you are looking for a modern contemporary garden office then look no further than our Domeo range of log cabin garden offices. Featuring bi-fold doors and large glass windows these contemporary garden offices offer vast amounts of natural light to enter, as well as being more naturally insulated due to the high quality double glazed glass. On the outside they are stylish and modern which would compliment any garden looking to add that little bit of extra modern styling.

Traditional garden offices

We have a vast range of log cabins and summerhouses well suited for working from home life. Traditional buildings have all the same benefits as contemporary but have a more traditional look and feel. Usually, the roof shape will feature an apex or pyramid roof with framed windows and doors. Thick wall logs will offer more insulation and wind proofing something that goes a long way with the British weather changing regularly.

Insulation and is it required?

Garden offices have gained immense popularity in recent years, providing an ideal space for professionals seeking a serene and dedicated work environment. One crucial aspect to consider when designing a garden office is the choice of insulation, particularly for the roof. Roof insulation is an excellent option, as it not only helps maintain a consistent internal temperature throughout the year but also assists in reducing energy consumption and minimizing noise pollution. By integrating highly efficient roof insulation into your garden office, you can create a comfortable and eco-friendly workspace, perfect for enhancing productivity and maintaining a work-life balance without compromising on the aesthetics of your garden.

Wall insulation is something we do not offer or recommend as it can take up valuable internal space and is usually not required as the roof is more optimal to insulate. We would only ever recommend looking at wall insulation if you live in an extremely cold climate or plan to be inside the building for extra long periods of time. Due to the nature of a log cabins thick wall logs usually in the region of 44mm - 70mm, this is usually more than enough to naturally insulate your garden office.
